The arrival of spring.
It’s felt like a lifetime I think you’ll agree, but and we say with much hesitation, that it looks like Spring is here…finally.
Whilst we don’t have flowers to pick during the winter months here at Babylon the work most definitely doesn’t stop. There’s a multitude of jobs to be ticked off, namely weeding, mulching, weeding, pruning, tidying the studio, weeding, buying seed and tubers…weeding. So it’s a welcome relief almost that with the arrival of Spring comes some reaping of reward if you like. The hardwork that goes into maintaining and developing our beds sees its first fruition. The daffs have bloomed, the trees have their first buds, Hellebores are happily dancing in the beds and bird song is loud and proud and sings a song of the delights to come.
Spring also means that our flower season is ever closer as the Tulips are starting to erupt, we will be able to create Babylon bouquets that are 100% grown here, grown by us, picked by us and arranged by us, we continue to improve upon and evolve our sustainable methods and by using all our own product we are able to eliminate any waste as we can pick to order as your
